A guided virtual session for DIY homeowners who want help diagnosing the issue, identifying the right part, and getting support through the repair process, including disassembly and reassembly questions.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for booking your Virtual Appliance Diagnostic Session with us. To make the most of our time together, please take a few minutes to prepare before your session. --- 🔧 How to Prepare for Your Session 1. Be near the appliance Please be ready to join the call from the location of the appliance so you can show the issue on camera. 2. Have a device with a camera A smartphone or tablet works best, but a laptop is also fine. Make sure your device is charged and connected to a stable internet connection. 3. Basic tools (if available) Having basic tools nearby (such as Phillips and flat screwdrivers, hex nut drivers, (a laser thermometer for refrigerator/freezer diagnosiss) can help. 4. Appliance details If not already supplied, have the **brand and model number of the appliance** ready. This can often be found on a sticker inside or behind the appliance. 5. Safety first This service is best suited for homeowners comfortable working safely around appliances and following instructions. Remember to always unplug or cut power off to the appliance on the circuit breaker before opening the appliance up. If at any point something feels unsafe or outside your comfort level, we’ll stop and discuss next steps. --- What to Expect During the Session * Live video guidance from a certified appliance technician * Help identifying the likely cause of the issue * Guidance on whether the problem is suitable for DIY repair * Next steps, including part guidance when possible Please note that while many issues can be identified during a virtual session, a definitive diagnosis cannot be guaranteed in all cases without hands-on testing. --- Session Time & Additional Support Your session is scheduled for the time you booked. If you’ve booked a **Virtual Parts Diagnosis & Guided Repair Session** and additional time is needed, extra time can be added in **15-minute increments at $35 per additional 15 minutes**, with your approval before continuing. --- Your Session Link Your video session link is included in this email and in your calendar invitation.
